What’s happening…

New Monthly Prayer Initiatives will be commencing – on Thursday evening this coming week (2nd) and in the morning of the third week of September (14th). Listen to the invitations from the front to learn more!

Re-launch of the House Groups. You are all invited to the House Groups which from now on will be meeting on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays and Thursdays of every month. The first meetings in September will be on the 8 and 9 September. Each of the leaders/hosts has invitations, there is also information on the table at the back.

Prayer Points:Bee and Blaise in Switzerland – with their baby due on 12 September pray that things will go smoothly and God will give courage and peace to Bee at every stage; that they will be the good and godly parents they wish to be; that their medicals will have gone well and applications to OMF will have reached the final stage.

Lynne Brown, who normally works in Angola is starting Home Assignment which will last until January 2011. Please pray for her as she has time with family, stamina and vibrancy as she speaks at many different meetings (including Abbeyhill in November!) and safety in travel.

In our church family pray for: JP & Rebecca Duffy, Fraser and Emily.

Pray for those with medical problems, whether younger or older, that they will know God’s enabling as they deal with on-going problems and continue to pray for Wendy & Dave and Keira.

New Rotas The rotas for September – November inclusive (for both normal Sunday duties and the replacement duties of former church officer) are now available on the notice board in the vestibule. Please take the relevant copies you need and note your dates. Please remember that if you are the person on the rota and you will be unable to be there, you have the responsibility for swopping or getting a replacement. If you need a list of contact numbers for others on the rotas, please contact Patricia Tweeddale.
