| Easter leaflets and events. The Easter leaflets are available on the table at the back. Please take some both for yourself and for your friends. Our major events are shown on the back of the leaflets but the following are additional events to which everyone is invited:
Communion Service – Thursday 1 April, 6.15pm (Long Hall).
Soup lunch for the Church family – Sunday 4 April, after the morning service. There is also an invitation to join with our Church of Scotland friends for the Easter Dawn Service at 7.00am on Easter Sunday morning on Calton Hill. We begin distribution of the Easter leaflets in the area this week. Please would you consider volunteering for this? If you’d like to help please speak with Adrian. All kinds of volunteers are also needed for the Doors Open Day – please sign up on the notice board in the vestibule. |
| Trypraying booklets. This is the week when we are challenged to hand the Trypraying booklet on to someone else. If you did not receive a copy last week but would like one there are some extras. Further copies may be obtained at the cost of £1 per booklet. |
| Prayer Points:
Give thanks that new contractors have taken over the dry rot work. Please pray that the work will be completed so that the Easter events can go ahead as planned.
Please continue to remember: those with on-going health problems; Yvonne as she arrives back in Edinburgh, bringing her sister on a visit. Let’s pray that the church will grasp the vision for Easter and that the leaflets will be well received. |
